HNS has a new chick!
After losing a chick to the Kona storms, we are celebrating the arrival of Miku 未来 (“future”).
We foresee a calm future for Miku 未来!
For 36 days mum and dad kept Miku’s (未来) egg warm.
And then— there she was!
Sometimes both parents are in.
Mikuʻs (未来) first fish delivery was… well… the fish was too big!
Since then, the fish have gotten smaller.
We’ve yet to have a camera on hand when the sashimi arrives, but weʻll be sure to have it on hand soon!
It’s been windy. Miku (未来) has been kept safe and warm!
But when mum and dad are away fishing…
Stay tuned!
We’ll keep an eye on Miku 未来 over the summer!
