The school year begins in early August in Hawai’i, which is why Cat couldn’t attend the wedding.
But while getting his classroom ready, Erika dropped by.
Not only was Erika in Cat’s first 2G class, but when Cat had visited the school and sat in on 1G, Erika had, in her delightful 7-year-old way, welcomed Cat to HNS!
At Halloween she gave Cat the wee metal lunchbox that has remained on a 2G shelf ever since, in plain view for all to see!
