WHO’S WHO ON PAGE 31?

December ‘24
December was not the month we’d planned!
Far, far from it.
While Cat’s Dec 16 surgery was planned, 3 days of off-the-scale pain, a morphine-enhance ER visit, a weekend popping oxycodone, and his Dec 23 surgery were not!
What looked to be a kidney stone turned out to be a congenital kidney condition Cat’s had… forever. Why’d it turn painful now? Who knows!
As one of the ER nurses said, kindly, “This is what it feels like to give birth.” : )
Then Rosie ended up in the hospital on the same day!
A serious follow on from a serious staph infection suggested a 2 week stay at Kapiolani! Yikes! Worries all round.
Thankfully, Tūtū Anne & Tūtū Cat were able to visit Rosie to let parents Tom & Danielle get out of doors, breathe some fresh air and see the sun.
While Cat couldn’t pick Rosie up—he actually did, once, unconsciously—(big) mistake!—he did allow her to practice her plastic surgery skills.
Cat’s nose is now noticeably smaller.
