As noted earlier, the longer Cat’s hair grows, the more fun the 2G hairdressers have!
Turkey Day
Tomas joined us for a bit on Thanksgiving, much to Macau’s delight (and ours!).
Yo-Yo Ma
Oh did we luck out:
(a) Yo-Yo Ma came to O’ahu!
(b) we got tickets on the lawn
(c) friends with seats closer to the master cellist couldn’t go and sold us their seats
(d) despite the cathedral’s ruthless choir director who called a practice on the night Yo-Yo was playing, Anne and Sienna Ubered over after practice and caught most of the performance
(e) Ma brings his own PA system wherever he goes and it’s so good it’s like you’re sitting in his living room listening to him play (with a few thousand others), and
(f) Yo-Yo Ma played brilliantly and included local Hawaiian artists in the performance. Most seemed to be Sienna’s friends.
